implant dentures costWhen you are looking for implant dentures cost you should understand that even though they are almost the same as the cost of dental implants, they are not the same thing at all. When you get dental implants you will find that they are individual tooth parts that will be attached to the abutment that is put into the jawbone.

On the other hand implant dentures will also go onto a type of abutment but they are still dentures. These type of dentures will allow you to have an open pallet which is a big perk. All you have to do is snap your new dentures into place after the pieces have been placed into your jawbone.

While you look at the implant dentures cost you will notice that they are still indeed a denture but they are much smaller than normal dentures and have an open gap which will give you that open pallet. Your dentist will drill aluminum alloy screw into your jawbone. These will have small rounded ball tips and these ball tips will stick out of your jaw. You will see that the rounded metal ball is about the size of a half tooth.

Usually you will only need two screws on the top and two screws on the bottom. This is when you will be able to snap the dentures on to those balls since they have an aluminum ball catch up inside the denture.

Many people choose to go with this option because they have to have few abutments placed into their jawbone and it is easy to snap their dentures into place but other people do prefer to have each tooth on their own abutment so that they feel like they look more natural and no one will be able to tell that they have false teeth.

Even though the teeth are false it is very difficult for people to tell that they are false since the teeth will be fashioned in a way to make them look real and complement the shape of your mouth.

Even though the implant dentures cost can be anywhere between $12,000 and $15,000 this is still a popular option. Since people are living longer than they have ever lived it is a great investment.  Most of these implants will be able to last at least 40 years and some longer than that if the person takes proper care of their dental health and doesn’t slack off.

Just imagine being able to eat an apple without having to worry about your dentures slipping or coming out with the apple. These new teeth will give you a new freedom. People notice that they tend to smile more when they have a healthy and bright smile. This not only will allow you to have a better look about yourself but you will also notice that you feel better about yourself as well.

Why would you put yourself through the pain and suffering of dentures that move around, fall out and cause so many problems when you can go through a simple procedure that will allow you to get the results that you want and keep your teeth in place?

I suppose you have probably noticed the $3,000 price difference in the $12,000 to $15,000 range that I said was the average cost of denture implants. I know this is a pretty large gap but you must understand that there are quite a few different variables that come into play whenever you go to get your denture implants done.

One of the things that you will notice that can have an effect on the price is the location at which you get the implants done. If you go to one part of the country it could be considerably lower than another part of the country.  Some people are even willing to go out of the country to get their work done so that they can slash their implant dentures cost.

Another thing that could effect the price of your dental work is the experience of the person that is installing your implants. If you allow someone that is generally new to work on your mouth then you may be able to get a considerable discount but if you are not comfortable with that you are going to have to pay for the expertise of the person that is installing your implants.

You will find that if you have existing teeth which need to be removed that this will also cause you to have an extra expense. While extracting teeth is not as expensive as it used to be, it is still going to be an added cost that you will have to tack onto the price tag.

Before you start to gag because of the implant dentures cost you should consider the fact that there are many different dental plans that will actually cover some of the cost of getting this procedure done.  Your final price tag would be greatly reduced if your dental coverage is willing to foot some of the cost.

You should also think about the fact that getting these dentures in place will allow you to chew your food better and this will allow for proper digestion. Many people with dentures that move around have a problem of chewing their food properly and this can lead to digestive problems. If you have to pay to have your stomach fixed it would have been a better idea to just have invested in the implant dentures cost.
